My family loves brownies. I was never a huge fan of brownies until I started making these and then I became a brownie convert.
Not only do these brownies have the perfect fudgy texture, they’re also created in one pot and poured into a pan. Less dishes to wash is my jam.
I can think of about a million reasons right now to make a pan of these amazing brownies so get to baking!
Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease the bottom and sides of a 9×13 baking dish or aluminum pan with cooking spray.
Over medium heat in a large non stick pot melt the butter and chocolate chips. When melted turn off the heat and move the pan to a cool eye.
Add in the sugar, salt, and vanilla. I only use 1 cup of sugar, but add more if you prefer.
Crack the eggs in a bowl and mix them well. Add a little of the melted chocolate mixture to the eggs and stir to help bring them up to the temperature of the chocolate.
Next add the eggs to the pot of melted chocolate, and mix well and then stir in 1/2 of the flour until incorporated and then the other half. Stir the mixture until air bubbles start to rise and all of the flour is fully incorporated.
Pour the batter into the greased baking dish. Bake for 20 minutes. After 20 minutes turn the heat down to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and bake for 10-15 more minutes.
Check the center of the brownies with a fork or toothpick. Keep an eye on the brownies to prevent over baking. All ovens bake differently so your brownies may take more or less time.
