Catalina is our favorite salad dressing for Taco Salad, but I can’t currently buy it in the grocery store where I live. I included the link for my recipe to make Taco Salads because although it’s a fairly simple recipe, not everyone has experience the goodness of a Taco Salad with loaded toppings like Doritos Nacho Cheese chips.
I jumped online and looked high and low for recipes and after trying a couple out I adapted them to my liking.
I cut back on the sugar that most of the recipes suggested because this recipe uses ketchup and it’s already pretty sweet, but if you taste it and it’s not as sweet as you prefer then add more sugar or a sugar substitute.
I hope that you’ll try this recipe today to top a Taco Salad, and if you do that you’ll leave a comment. Find and follow us on Instagram @lifeabovethecafe.
Mix all of the salad dressing ingredients up in a small blender or a jar with a tight fitting lid. Store in the refrigerator.
